Maggie Gyllenhaal Wore Gucci To The 2022 Film Independent Spirit Awards

It was a very successful night for Maggie Gyllenhaal who attended the 2022 Film Independent Spirit Awards on Sunday (March 6) in Santa Monica, California, where she picked up the Indie Spirit Award for Best Screenplay, Best Director, and Best Screenwriter for ‘The Lost Daughter.’

As elegant as she was at the SAG Awards in The Row, I was a little underwhelmed, but this Gucci offering is much more like it.

Stylistically it has more of an edge, the extreme boldness of the shoulders are breathing so much life into my Monday morning.  The 3D embellishments are doing their part, and then we have a bit of lace and a bit of underboob.

What’s not to love?

As you know, I’ve been worried that Maggie was going to give us the “directors wardrobe” for awards season, but I’m happy to see her opt for ‘The Rebecca Hall,’ rather than ‘The Greta Gerwig’ on this occasion.
