The BRIT Awards 2022 Menswear Roundup

Here is a roundup of the few men who caught my eye on the red carpet for The BRIT Awards 2022, held at The O2 Arena in London on Tuesday (February 8).

As you know I love a matchy moment, so 220 Kid matching his Lanvin top, to his hair and nails was a winning move for me.

Call me crazy, but I think this is one of the best looks on the night along with Adele.

Yes the bar very low (basically on the floor), but I like to give credit where credit is due.

It’s well coordinated (rather than just thrown together), and I love the colour of his teal blue overcoat.

Dave, who was one of the performers on the night, looked sleek in his black suit.

If you’re anything like me, you would’ve thought that the rapper was wearing Louis Vuitton thanks to the harness on the blazer, but he’s actually wearing Heliot Emil. A Danish brand whose avant-garde Scandinavian aesthetic relies on utilitarian intricacies.

Ed Sheeran continued to showcase his love for colour wearing an Etro custom cobalt blue velvet suit.  The biggest clue to this being an Etro look was the paisley pattern silk tie.

I kinda wish the tie was the same hue as the suit, or a light blue rather than a dark blue, but then he’d have to reconsider his footwear.

YouTuber KSI also wore a Heliot Emil harness blazer with carabiner-hook tailored trousers.

The suit is fine despite it feeling like a direct copy of Louis Vuitton, but the styling – which included purple Prada zipper pouch leather gloves – is both unfortunate and comical.

I thought Tom Daley was wearing a Versace shirt, but his entire look is Louis Vuitton.

My issue with this look is that it very much feels thrown together with little to no finesse.

The accessories are my least favourite part of this look.

I’m not usually fussed about monogrammatic pieces, but I was bothered by them on this occasion. Perhaps because there is too much of it in random places.

20-year-old Arsenal and England footballer Bukayo Saka married looking smart and sporty with great aplomb.

There was nothing funny about comedian Mo Gilligan’s black suit.

For The BRIT Awards host it was a case of sticking to a classic look, even if it is the safe option.
