Normani Wore Off-White & Ciara Wore Balmain On The Ellen Show

During a recent appearance on ‘The Ellen Show,’ Normani sat down with guest host, Ciara, and things got emotional after Normani told Ciara that she’s “someone she’s looked up to forever.”

“I’ve always felt like representation was so key and being a little girl in my grandmother’s living room learning the ‘1, 2 Step’ and ‘Goodies.’ Literally, the earliest memories that I have, you were a part of that,” Normani shared.

What they also shared was a love for leather outfits.

Normani wore a dark grey Off-White Fall 2021 skirt suit.

I wish that the blazer had been longer so she could’ve worn this as a blazer dress, as the mini skirt (especially with the boots) pushes this into dated territory for me.

Ciara did fair better in her Balmain Fall 2020 tan leather suit, even though I would’ve preferred a longer, slimmer fit pair of trousers.

My overall feeling is perhaps leather wasn’t the best choice for an event where both would be seated.
