The Hollywood Reporter’s Women In Entertainment Gala Red Carpet Roundup

Here are the rest of the red carpet looks from The Hollywood Reporter’s Women In Entertainment Gala on Wednesday (December 8) in Los Angeles, California.

Alexandra Shipp’s Dior Resort 2022 white silk bustier says toga party, while the shorts look fresh and sophisticated.

Speaking of sophisticated Rebecca Hall was looking graceful as ever wearing an Emilia Wickstead gingham suit in an eye-catching custard yellow and brown hue from the Resort 2022 collection.

The look was styled with Alexandre Birman Fiorella mules and a Yuzefi ‘Doris’ bag. 

Jennifer Garner will give us a bold colour from time to time, but for the post part she will stick to black and navy.

This Lanvin cape benefits from the detailing at the waist and the Jimmy Choo ‘Bryson’ boots which we saw on FKA twigs earlier this week.

Maggie Gyllenhaal was in a summery mood wearing this Rodarte floral dress from the Fall 2021 collection.

I love the dress, but the oversized nature of the blazer weighs it down.

Bottega Veneta leather-trimmed stretch-mesh pumps completed her look.

While I do love this Pamella Roland Spring 2020 pink embellished suit.  There is something about this look on Kelsea Ballerini which I found ageing.

Unfortunately Alexandra Daddario’s Carolina Herrera Spring 2022 suit didn’t translate onto the red carpet. I’m missing the charm from the runway.

Selma Blair looked super sharp rocking a classic Thom Browne look.

Ariana DeBose was back on the red carpet wearing a Fendi Spring 2022 look with David Yurman jewels.

I can’t decide if this appears to be overwhelming her.

I’m really surprised that someone like Maria Sharapova, who likes to have fun on the red carpet, would select this Gabriela Hearst Resort 2022 dress.  I prefer the orange colourway we saw on Emily Blunt.

Maria Bakalova perked me up with this fun colourful Bella Freud Pre-Fall 2019 suit styled with a Louis Vuitton bag.

This is such a glorious mix of colours.

Rachel Brosnahan wore a Dundas Resort 2022 toffee hued Dalmatian print cropped and midi skirt with twist front detailing.

Susan Kelechi Watson stood out in this bright yellow Greta Constantine dress.

I’m obsessed with the French blue hue of Hannah Waddingham’s Lela Rose dress which she perfectly styled with hot-pink pumps.

Alana Haim was flying solo wearing a look from Nina Ricci’s Spring 2022 collection.

I’m glad she got rid of that elastic, drawstring waistband.  It improved the look 10-fold.

Camila Alves was giving us lush winter florals in Gucci.  I adore the feminine flourishes such as the bell sleeves and the lace yoke.

I have been looking at Ashley Park in this Christian Dior Resort 2022 look from several angles, and this one showed it in the best light.

It’s so Jenny from the block, that I’m shocked JLo didn’t wear this first.

Some might say it’s too casual for the event, but I don’t think this was a gala gown type of event. Gala by name, but not by dress code.

I have two words for Jenna Dewan in this David Koma Resort 2022 dress.

What happened? 

I don’t know if Brad Goreski is still styling her, as he blocked me from Instagram randomly some time ago, but if he is, I wish he would bring her old style back.

Simone Ashley wore a metallic smock dress from The Vampire’s Wife’s styled with Jennifer Meyer jewels.

I love the colours against her skin tone, but the style is doing nothing for her.
