Tessa Thompson Wore Del Core To The 4th Annual Celebration of Black Cinema and Television

Tessa Thompson joined Halle Berry on the red carpet for 4th Annual Celebration of Black Cinema and Television held at the Fairmont Century Plaza on Monday (December 6) in Los Angeles, California.
The ‘Passing’ actress’ commitment to giving us breath-taking red carpet moments is so admirable, as well as appreciated.
For this sculptural Del Core dress to look this effortless is a glowing testament to her stylists Wayman Bannerman and Micah McDonald, and Tessa herself.
Styled as it was in the look book, this would’ve been a case of quarter back shoulders to end all others, but the winged effect of Tessa’s sleeves is not only commendable for making this look her own, but also allows her to not be overwhelmed by this piece.
A dress like this stands alone, so only Giuseppe Zanotti ‘Harmony’ sandals completed what might just be my favourite look from Tessa this year.
I’ll have to look back to double check, but I’ll stand by this statement for now.
