Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

Here is a menswear roundup from the week, starting with Dwayne Johnson who joined Gal Gadot on the red carpet for the world premiere of ‘Red Notice.’

The actor was back at it again wearing a stunning velvet suit from Ralph Lauren.

Yes the colour is hypnotic, but I also can’t speak highly enough about his pale grey Scarosso loafers. Yes, black would’ve worked due to the dark nature of the suit, but I adore how his choice gave this look a lift.

A IWC Schaffhausen timepiece and David Yurman jewels completed his look.

While this is a menswear post, Amelia Warner totally high-jacks this photo from her husband Jamie Dornan (once again) while attending the Belfast’ Belfast premiere with Caitriona Balfe.

The musician wore a Yuhan Wang Spring 2022 green floral dress which isn’t an easy look to pull off.

If I could change one thing it would be the fit or the placement of the left shoulder (as we are looking at it), and open-toe sandals over pumps.

But this was a really interesting choice, nonetheless.

I would’ve been more inclined to like Amelia’s blue suede shoes, had Jamie worn a navy suit.

Ok, back to the fellas.

Joshua Jackson joined a host of ladies at the Fashion Trust Arabia Prize 2021 Awards Ceremony wearing a Dolce & Gabbana black Sicilia-fit tuxedo which he styled with Jimmy Choo ‘Saul’ loafers.

I’m still trying to figure out if I like the trousers being that short, because I love the fit and the elegance of the suit.

Ryan Reynolds’ love for Italian labels continues with Giorgio Armani.

I think ‘Sex And The City’ has a lot to answer for when it comes to the negative connotations regarding corduroy suits, as I’m yet to seen one on the red carpet that I didn’t love.

Some might be getting supply teacher from this look, but I think the tailoring – exemplary of the Italian brand – ensured this was oozing with elegance.
