Menswear Red Carpet Roundup
Here is a final roundup of menswear looks from this week.
Penn Badgley made a guest appearance on âJimmy Kimmel Live!â where he was promoting season three of âYou.â
I know some of you arenât fans of the turtleneck, but I canât help but swoon over how suave Penn looks in this Canali piece, which he wore with a corduroy Giorgio Armani suit.
The fit and colour co-ordination made this one of the most Fall appropriate looks this week.
Perhaps I spoke a little too soon, as Tristan Mack Wilds was looking pretty damn season appropriate for the âSwagger” New York premiere on Tuesday (October 26).
He wore a total Paul Smith look including a wool-hopsack double breasted overcoat.
Iâm torn between loving the khaki colour, and wishing the coat was the same olive-green hue as his pinstripe shirt and cargo trousers.
Paul Smith ‘Tufnel’ boots completed this winter ready look.
And what is more season appropriate than velvet?
Eddie Redmayne made a guest appearance on âThe Graham Norton Showâ where he promoted his new West End show âCabaret.â
The British actor was looking as dapper as ever wearing a Giorgio Armani blazer with slim-fit trousers.
Aside from the colour, the other unique feature of this look was the mandarin collar on the blazer.
The last time we saw Eddie wear a brown velvet suit was back in 2013 for the SAG Awards.
The only other celebrity I remember being bold enough to wear a brown velvet suit was Donald Glover at the 2017 Golden Globe Awards.
And thanks to JHH for reminding me that Dwayne Johnson has also rocked a brown velvet suit.
Lil Nas Xâs wore a DsquaredÂČ Fall 2021 red velvet tuxedo to celebrate âA Night With Lil Nas Xâ Awards where it was announced that October 20th in Atlanta is now officially Lilâ Nas X Day.
Iâm really ready for Robert Pattinson to start reselecting the more contemporary Dior Men looks again.
While his navy suit was event appropriate for the GO Gala, Iâm really missing his usual flair.
