Billie Eilish Wore Oscar de la Renta To The 2021 Met Gala

Billie Eilish made the most dramatic entrance so far onto the red carpet for the 2021 Met Gala hosted at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Sunday (September 13) in New York City.

I said at the VMAs that she was saving it all for the Met Gala, and she proved me right by having a full moment in this custom Oscar de la Renta blush gown which felt like a homage to Marilyn Monroe.

As a co-chair she was expected to bring it, and by it, we were not expecting another baggy Gucci logo top and trouser combo.

I didn’t have an exact picture in my mind of what her look would be, but it wasn’t an ethereal ballgown.

In terms of next level glamour, this is a first for Billie, and I feel like we should embrace it while we can and enjoy the moment, because I don’t think this will come again any time soon.
