Anna Wintour Wore Oscar de la Renta & Bee Carrozzini Wore Valentino To The 2021 Met Gala

Honorary chairperson Anna Wintour was one of the first to walk the steps at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday (September 13) in New York City for the 2021 Met Gala.

You should recognise this bold watercolour floral print, as we’ve seen it on Mindy Kaling.

Anna’s custom Oscar de la Renta gown pays homage to her dear friend – Mr Renta – who adored his garden.

What made this tribute even more poignant, is the fact that Anna rarely wears anything but Chanel Haute Couture for this event, but this was an event celebrating American fashion.

Setting the tone for what we hope will be a drama filled night tonight, the dress had a lot more ruffles, and tiers than we are used to seeing from an OdlR look, and I’m living for it.    

Bee Carrozzini brought her maternity style to the Met Gala wearing a Tiffany blue custom Valentino off-the-shoulder gown.
