We’re only officially four days into the summer season, and Colman Domingo has given us more colour than some of us will get to wear all year with five new looks.
Life’s too short to dress boringly, right?
This appears to be Colman’s M.O., and I’m so here for it.
For the ‘Zolo’ press day he was having fun with stripes and polka dots of all sizes thanks to the Versace’s Spring 2021 collection.
I’m ecstatic that he didn’t opt for the Versace trésor de la mer print which has been officially put to rest today thanks to Juno Temple.
For his second day of press, he switched Italian brands this time opting for Dolce & Gabbana.
Was the scarf necessary?
Perhaps not, but for me this look is all about that Spring 2021 fresh sea breeze blue-and-white print which dominated this collection, and the navy Louis Vuitton leather sneakers that thankfully weren’t black.
I keep forgetting that Isabel Marant makes menswear.
This sweater has a homespun feel to it with the colour-block palette adding a retro appeal.
Can you wear zebra and leopard print shoes?
According to Sebago World and Colman, you can with the right look; and the right amount of credit in your style bank.
For the ’The God Committee’ Tribeca Film Festival premiere, the actor proved that his WFH looks were just as swaggy as this red carpet looks wearing this Saint Laurent orchid print shirt and palm print jacquard trouser combo.
My only issue is that he didn’t fully switch off the WFH mode when it came to his footwear.
The yellow socks and sandal combo would’ve been great for a Zoom call, but it didn’t translate for me on the red carpet, as much as I tried to appreciate the creativity here.
Taking his virtual front row seat for Vigil Abloh’s Louis Vuitton Spring 2022 menswear show, the actor was oozing ‘70s charm in this monogrammed shirt and achingly cool blue trouser Louis Vuitton Spring 2021 combo.
The footwear on this occasion was kept simple with white Nike sneakers.
