Anitta Promotes ‘Girl From Rio’ In Dolce & Gabbana, Maje & Usama Ishtay

Anitta dropped her first English language single, ‘Girl From Rio’ last week, and there has been a big push to promote this as the song of the summer.
The Brazilian singers influence and fanbase already reaches far and wide, yet this newest release should serve to give it an even bigger boost.
In her music video the singer can be seen wearing Dolce & Gabbana two-tone dress from the brands Spring 2021 patchwork collection; giving a whole new meaning to the term double denim.
I love the ’90s vibe I’m getting from this dress on account of the puff sleeves and frayed edges.
I would’ve added a belt to this look, but not the one we saw on the runway for the petite star.

On Tuesday (May 4), the singer made a guest appearance on ‘The Today Show’ wearing a preppy lilac and white gingham look from Maje.
From what I have observed with regards to Anitta’s style, this look sees the singer take a step outside the norm, as she tends to veer to her sultrier side.
But as the saying goes, find you a girl who can do both – sultry and sweet.
The look was styled with Stuart Weitzman white satin ‘Chaka’ platforms and a matching headband.

For her single launch party last week, the singer wore a custom Usama Ishtay embellished see-through dress.
The one-sleeved, cut-out piece left little to the imagination.
I can’t even publish the picture from the front, as my advertisers will blacklist my account.
The singer herself didn’t even publish this look on her Instagram, because the platform was likely to remove it, due her nipples being on full display.
