Regina King Wore Oscar de la Renta To The 2021 NAACP Image Awards

Regina King, was nominated in three categories — Entertainer of the Year, Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Series (‘Black Monday’), and Outstanding Directing in a Motion Picture (‘One Night In Miami’) at the 2021 NAACP Image Awards on Saturday (March 27).

She may have come away empty handed, but she’s still up for Best Dressed at this event.

Ms King continues doing what she does best during awards season.

When it comes to this taffeta Oscar de la Renta custom dress it’s not exactly groundbreaking in design, but between the copper hue, and over all dramatic nature of the asymmetric dress featuring an oversized bow which cascaded down into a statement train, I’m still totally blown away; and I love that she matched her braids to her dress.
