The ‘Born This Way’ singer wanted to showcase an African American designer to accept the Yolanda Denise King ‘Higher Ground Award.’
Yolanda Denise King, was Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.’s eldest child who pursued her father’s dream of racial harmony through acting and motivational speaking, which made her outfit choice even more poignant.
Her Grayscale vermillion orange double breast suit could be been considered tame by her standard but we all know that when it comes to being serious, the singer-actress knows when to dial down the Gaga.
Despite the bold hue of the suit, it was almost upstaged by her latest lavender hair colour, which is swiftly becoming a latest trend in celebrity hair colouring.
