Karlie Kloss Announces Her Pregnancy In Jacquemus

Karlie Kloss made two announcements via her Instagram this week.

1. Her #karlieklossxadidas collection is due to finally launch December 1.

2.  She is pregnant with her first child.

And I’m equally excited about both as my activewear closet has pretty much overtaken my everyday closet during lockdown, and is there anything more beautiful than welcoming a child into the world?

At this current rate of people, not just celebrities, announcing their pregnancy – because let’s face it, what else was there to do during lockdown? – there’s going to be an overflow of children at nurseries and schools in the coming years.   So if you’ve ever been thinking about opening up a creche, now might be the time.

So, what can we expect when Karlie Kloss is expecting?

This is such a relaxed vibe that is perfectly suited to her style. 

I love how the picture is so tranquil, and so at peaceful being at one with mother nature, with the tropical trees in the background.

There is commonly known phrase, “barefoot and pregnant,” but with an activewear line to promote, and many other things in the pipeline, I don’t see pregnancy slowing Karlie’s work flow down.

You may remember that Brie Larson wore this same dress to the 2020 Virtual Creative Arts Emmys.
