Dua Lipa Wore Two Versace Looks For The 2020 American Music Awards

Dua Lipa performed her new song ‘Levitating’ at the 2020 American Music Awards on Sunday (November 22), which saw her literally levitated (via wires) during her performance which was broadcast from the Royal Albert Hall in London.

The British singer also picked up the Favourite Song award in the Pop/Rock category for ‘Don’t Start Now.’

It’s safe to say we weren’t fans of her blonde ambition moment, as darker hair fits her so much better.

Dua was smouldering on the red carpet wearing this Versace Spring 2021 bustier dress.

The embellished starfish – inspired by Gianni Versace’s ‘trésor de la mer’ Spring 1992 collection – and ruffled pink adds a playful element which is very much Dua’s red carpet M.O.

I feel like the Versace gold choker is a bit redundant here, on account of the gold embellished cups, but it does nothing to detract me from the fact that this is a really good look for Dua, who appears to be back on very top form if this and her Graham Norton show look are anything to go by.

Gold platform heels completed her red carpet look.

For her performance she wore yet another Versace dress. This time Atelier Versace.

The crystallized blue mini dress bares all the hallmark of the Versace dresses supermodels used to wear religiously in the ’90s.  From the length, fabrication, cowl neckline, and Versace medusa gold accents.

This is also a style of dress that the singer has worn on a few occasions.

Matching boots and jewels from both Versace and David Yurman accessorized her second look.
