Megan Thee Stallion Wore Monsoori For Her TIME 100 Cover

Megan Thee Stallion Wore Monsoori For Her TIME 100 Cover

Platinum-selling rapper Megan Thee Stallion, known for her viral hits ‘Hot Girl Summer,’ ‘Savage’ and ‘WAP,’ joins Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade in being named on TIME’s list of the 100 most influential people of 2020.

Considering the year she’s had, with consistent number one songs, and TikTok dances that have inspired whole generation, she deserves this accolade.

Taraji P Henson paid tribute to the rapper in the magazine.  The actress wrote, “She rode the beat like I’d never heard anybody ride the beat in a long time – and I’m a hip-hop head… The industry might try to pigeonhole her in this rap game, but she’s got a plan that’s much bigger. And we got her. I just want her to keep winning.”

As do we all.

The rapper was looking every inch the golden girl wearing this dress from
Monsoori, who has dressed many high profile stars including fellow Texan Beyonce, and glamour goddess Laverne Cox.

The stunning gown was made dramatic with the asymmetrical neckline and a hip-high slit, while her nearly floor-length plait is whipped into the air.

I love how the gown is grand enough for the accolade and a woman of her stature.

Megan’s red carpet style is usually overtly sexy, so is nice to see her in a look that has more of a regal air.
