Katherine Waterston Wore Christian Dior Arriving At The Excelsior Hotel

Katherine Waterston Wore Christian Dior Arriving At The Excelsior Hotel

Katherine Waterston, who is attends the 2020 Venice Film Festival to promote her film ‘The World To Come,’ arrived on the Lido di Venezia on Wednesday (September 9) in Italy, wearing her most relaxed look yet.

In my mind I always picture Katherine in ‘ladylike’ mode, but on this occasion she gave us a slightly more masculine look in this Dior Fall 2020 ivory wool shantung vest and trouser combo.

We’ve all witness the buzz around boxy blazers and statement suiting as a red carpet trend that is now a staple, but the humble vest has taken a backseat.

The piece has long been a staple of menswear (and has long been a staple for Kate Moss), but on this evidence, could this be the making of a new trend?

I love how the vest is so versatile and can be worn with a shirt underneath for an androgynous feel, but the actress opting wear hers solo feels a bit more feminine and modern.

Are you ready for the vest trend?

I like the vest, and the trend. I however can’t get onboard the pants…it’s too long and looks more big than relaxed.

I like it. It feels cool and relaxed but still smart enough for the occasion. I’m happy it’s not black.

I love this! I am a huge fan of androgynous looks and I have been wearing vests like this for a decade now, so I am really ready for this trend ?
There is a cool, effortless sophistication about this look that I really like.
