Billie Eilish For Vogue China June 2020

Billie Eilish graces the cover of Vogue China‘s June 2020 issue which was shot by fashion photographer Nick Knight.

The stylist – Daniela Paudice – kept the look firmly on brand with a range of bee-keeper hats, oversized Burberry check shirts, Gucci suits and Moschino puffers.

Billie is incredibly talented and beautiful, but I would’ve liked to have seen something different style-wise.

That’s not to say I would’ve wanted to see her in a big puffy gown, or even a dress as that type of style isn’t her thing.

But I found myself a little underwhelmed by the lack of creativity in the styling department as we’ve seen this all before.

Something a little more fantastical would’ve been interesting.

Apparently this it was shot in LA after her appearance at the 2020 Grammy Awards – before the breakout of the pandemic – but I would not have been surprised if this was shot after the 2019 American Music Awards, because she is wearing an identical Burberry look.

If the theme was ‘Handmaid’s Tale,’ they nailed it.
