Victoria Beckham’s Stunning Vogue Mexico Cover

Posted by Catherine Kallon

Victoria Beckham posted her Vogue Mexico Beauty supplement cover with the following message, “I didn’t know if I should post this or not. A cover that was shot in what now feels like a different reality and time.

I had so much fun shooting for @VogueMexico in New York a few months ago with the most incredible team.

I hope that our creative industries can keep playing their part in allowing all of us some momentary escapism and inspiration as we live through these unprecedented times.

I hold the memory of this shoot day with great happiness and so I decided to share it – and Vogue Mexico have made sure you can download the April issue for free x I hope you enjoy it. x”

I’m really glad she did, because she looks so beautiful.  I would go as far as to say it’s perhaps her best cover yet.

Saint Laurent Spring 2020

For the cover she wore a sultry LBD from Saint Laurent’s Spring 2020 collection, which was very Posh Spice-esqe, but for the rest of the editorial you’ll not be surprised to see her wearing looks from her own Spring 2020 collection.

In the interview Victoria mostly talks about her new skincare and makeup line;  Victoria Beckham Beauty, which is a sustainable, transparent and cruelty-free brand.

VB Beauty is made up of three categories: eyes, lips and skin.

The new release is a collaboration with leading stem cell research scientist Augustinus Bader, (whose Rich Cream has achieved cult status) called Power Serum.

It claims to offer everything the skin needs for good health; providing essential nutrients and an antioxidant defense against environmental aggressors, to repairing and strengthening the skin’s own barrier.

When referring to the ‘Power Serum’ Victoria says,  “I’m only interested in skincare that really does what it promises.”

Love this cover. The composition is really good not to mention her expression.

The cover is too photoshopped. Her legs looks like oily hot dogs. And the bizarre over-shadowing on her armpit makes it look like she has three boobs. Victoria is a beautiful woman. I don’t understand why the magazine felt the need to make these glaring “improvements.”

Catherine – could you do some Couture wish list posts please? A moment of dreaming about beauty and art would be extra lovely.

Sure thing. I was starting to struggle with Fall 2020.

I’d love to see Duchess Meghan in that ivory polo neck sweater and pied de poule skirt seen on the model in the background of the bottom photo.

She looks stunning and that dress and pose on the cover is very reminiscent of her posh spice days, love love
