Renée Zellweger Wore Gucci To The Women’s Cancer Research Fund Gala

Renée Zellweger Wore Gucci To The Women's Cancer Research Fund Gala

Awards season may be over, but Renee Zellweger showed no signs of slowing down as she attended The Women’s Cancer Research Fund’s An Unforgettable Evening  held at the Beverly Wilshire  on Thursday (February 27) in California.

For the first time in since the start of her long promo tour for ‘Judy,’ Renee opted to cover both her shoulders wearing a sensual gown from Gucci.

This commanding dress is beautiful from top to toe as the black lace bodice falls into an unapologetically sexy skirt.

Alessandro Michele creative language doesn’t speak minimalist, so I guess the compromise was to go maximalist with the double slits.

Was this too much for you?  Would one slit have sufficed?

Renee’s signature David Webb jewels and Jimmy Choo ‘Anouk’ pumps completed her look.

It’s a beautiful dress and she’s gorgeous in it. I think one slit would have been enough.

She really needs some color in her face…or earrings might help. I also see what looks like lip filler gone wrong…

Top isn’t ok. Feel like I’ve seen it million of times.

Its boring black but the double slits add a sexy factor without it going into tacky. Im surprised by how well that works.

I love this and she is rocking it. The double slits show off those legs just enough. I don’t even mind her ponytail with this look. lol.

You know what- the double slit doesnt bother me. It looks great, and Renee makes it work. I am not sure about the top lacey half though – it doesn’t go with the bottom half.

This looks great! I love the two slits though I can see how people might think the top is dated. Regardless, it’s a solid look.

I am thrilled to see Renee try a different style even though this dress is meh. Her hair is awful. She should really consider cutting it all off and starting again because it is currently in a bad way.

I appreciate its not another structured satin gown even if the double slit isn’t my taste

    Feels dated and cheap looking.

For the first time, I don’t find the double slits tacky.
But the top looks a bit dated, and the hair and the shoes are uninspired.
