LVMH Prize Presentation with Gigi Hadid & Karlie Kloss

LVMH Prize Presentation

Last month, Gigi Hadid was appointed as one of the panelist and ambassador for the 2020 LVMH prize.

She joins luxury veterans including Moda Operandi co-founder Lauren Santo Domingo, activist Sinéad Burke, i-D’s senior fashion editor at large Ibrahim Kamara, MATCHESFASHION’s fashion and buying director Natalie Kingham, How to Spend It editor Jo Ellison, House + Holme founder and creative director Ronnie Cooke Newhouse, model and Project Runway judge Karlie Kloss and influencers Caroline Daur and Leaf Greener.

The winner won’t be announced until June, but in the meantime, the 20 semi finalists were presented at an event held at LVMH’s headquarters in Paris on Thursday (February 27).

Gigi Hadid:  I didn’t quite know what to make of this Louis Vuitton Spring 2020 look, because my first reaction was that I wished to see this without the coat.   The second was that I wish it was in a colour that didn’t wash Gigi out.

White Louis Vuitton pumps and a matching Louis Vuitton ‘Capucines BB’ bag completed her look.

Karlie Kloss: The model doesn’t usually do bold statements, but she was serving up Parisian chic school girl excellence in this navy Louis Vuitton suit with the essence of the City of Lights really coming through thanks to her accessories which included a pink Louis Vuitton ‘Capucines BB’ bag.

She captioned this look “Madeline, all grown up,” which is the perfect description.
