Sarah Hyland In Philosophy Di Lorenzo Serafini – 2020 SAG Awards

Sarah Hyland In Philosophy Di Lorenzo Serafini - 2020 SAG Awards

In a sea of floor length dresses, Sarah Hyland served up something fun, short number on the red carpet at the the 2020 Screen Actors Guild Awards on Sunday (January 19) in Los Angeles.

If you were growing tired of all the gowns, you’re likely to be jolted to life when you saw Sarah in a short Philosophy Di Lorenzo Serafini Spring 2020 design with bubble skirt and train.

From the floral print to the lavender shade to Sarah’s radiant skin, the look was a refreshing reminder of everything to look forward to in the spring.

Yes, it’s only January, but who wouldn’t appreciate some flowers and sunshine right now?

Though the dress has a lot going on, the actress made it work with a low ponytail and minimal jewelry.

The first thing comes to my mind was ‘she’s disrespecting the event & also to the people in it.’

Not hating it’s a fine look but for somewhere else. I like her confidence. It’s awesome.

Legs and boobs out is a fine line to tread.

oh my god, this is tacky and awful

I think this looks super fun and youthful. And it suits her energy. I thought she looked great!

    I love this!

    Thank you, next.

the more I see it, the more I like it, but I still find it a little bit too short!

I think I am done with the mullet/high low dresses….only the colour is nice here in my opinion.

  9. Originalmeme January 20, 2020 at 3:19 pm #

I hate this and think it might be the worst look of the night.

  10. Guest January 20, 2020 at 3:08 pm #

This would’ve been gorgeous with a full length ballgown skirt and sans train.

  11. Vizual Ninja January 20, 2020 at 1:34 pm #

I really like the lavender shade on her and the styling…not that I’m prudish but it looks a bit naked to me. The train just made it all ridiculous.

It may not be the event for this but she looks incredibly well proportioned and i almost believed she was 5’9 for a minute!

  13. Sharon M January 20, 2020 at 12:47 pm #

    Oh no…really awful dress.

  14. nooyoo January 20, 2020 at 12:05 pm #

I want to like it, but I really do not!

Looks like swimwear with a tail. Pass.

  16. Catarina_M January 20, 2020 at 10:05 am #

I don’t now if this is event appropriate and I don’t like the pattern but, the styling is great and this feels fun and fresh.

She looks ridiculous. The silhouette is all wrong, what, with that short bubble skirt – which I hate – and that way too long train. Plus, I don’t like the print. Her hair and makeup look fresh, though.

I like the fabric, but the style of the dress is neither my cup of tea nor is it event appropriate.

  19. CharlotteLG January 20, 2020 at 8:23 am #

I don’t like the dress and it doesn’t work for the event.

  20. Guest January 20, 2020 at 5:39 am #

I mean there clearly should be black tie dress code?? Sorry, but it’s not event appropriate. Comapring to other attendees, that reads thirsty

  21. Guest January 20, 2020 at 5:28 am #

The dress looks like an adult diaper attached to a halter and a train. It’s a no from me.

First of all Nat39, there are no seasons in LA.

”this is so low-rent, even if it doesn’t look cheap” ??? Please elaborate on where you’ve drawn the line between “low-rental and “cheap”.

Anyway, I love this. It’s fun, it’s young, it’s colorful, it doesn’t look cheap, and suits her figure perfectly. Perfect shoe choice, and great simple hair and makeup, and the only small change I would’ve made would’ve been to keep a silver/crystal version of the runway flower.

    That is so awful.
First it belongs at a music event.
Second, it looks like the front of her dress got all tangled up into her panties. Its too short and looks weird.
The color is all thats good about it.

    • Guest January 20, 2020 at 5:31 am #

Exactly, its disproportionately short. The bellowing train highlights that.

  24. KseniaBradner January 20, 2020 at 4:09 am #

I agree with Nat39 but also this is so low-rent, even if it doesn’t look cheap.

  25. Guest January 20, 2020 at 4:06 am #

Doesn’t look right for the season or event, even if it suits her rather well personally.
