Julia Fox’s Lace Alexander Wang Jumpsuit Turns Heads At The GQ Men Of The Year 2019
The GQ Men of the Year event has a long history of attracting thirst-trap outfits (Rita Ora, Kate Beckinsale, Rita Ora again), so at this point none of us should be surprised when one, or a few hit the red carpet at the annual events round the world.
Julia Fox joined Darren Criss on the red carpet on Thursday (December 5) in West Hollywood, California, wearing an Alexander Wang Fall 2019 lace jumpsuit.
Honestly, I don’t hate the jumpsuit, but I do dislike the way it has been styled on Julia.
On the runway the tied sweater appears part of the look, and is nonchalantly draped around the models hips.
On Julia, it feels like a coverup, and therefore the look feels a little forced.
I’m also a little confused with the rest of the styling.
You have Charlotte York-eqse Giuseppe Zanotti ‘Mandy’ alligator print leather pumps accented with crystals, and Lorraine Schwartz jewels with this jumpsuit?
It’s a total disconnect for me.
