Alessandra Ambrosio Launches Her Wax Figure At Madame Tussauds New York

Alessandra Ambrosio’s new wax figure was unveiled on Thursday (December 5) at Madame Tussauds in New York City.

The wax works was modeled after her red Julien MacDonald look from this year’s Cannes Film Festival.

Personally, I wish it was modeled after her GQ Middle East Men of the Year Awards look, but the red gown makes more of an impact, especially in the way it is styled to launched the all-new interactive fashion experience at Madame Tussauds New York.

The New York figure follows her original wax figure that was launched in Shanghai in March 2017, modeled after her 2008 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show look.

For the event, Alessandra’s look was relatively demure by her standards.

I love how Anthony Vaccarello carved an eighties silhouette with this velvet mini dress from the Saint Laurent Fall 2017 collection.

Cut-out details and an oversized bow with shimmering crystal embellishments balance perfectly with the short cut and figure-framing fit.

I think this is a win for Alessandra. Do you agree?

Harry Kotlar earrings, and rings by Le Vian and Djula completed her look.
