Monaco National Day Was The Day To Don Dior

Monaco’s National Day took place on Tuesday (November 19) in Monte Carlo, in celebration of its independence which is just as important to Monaco as July 4th is to Americans.

The event also paid a special tribute to Princess Grace, as the even falls close to the 90th anniversary of her birth (she was born on November 12, 1929).

Beatrice Casiraghi, H.R.H Princess Alexandra De Hanovre And Tatiana Casiraghi were all dressed in their finest to celebrate the occasion.

Beatrice Casiraghi: This black and green checkered coat and dress probably needs little introduction, as celebs have enjoyed this Dior Fall 2019 check on the red carpet since the collection was presented.  I don’t know about you, but the Dior black beret, accented with a veil, sells this utterly refined Parisian look to me.  A black Dior clutch, gloves and shoes completed her look.

Her Royal Highness Princess Alexandra de Hanovre:  I love the fresh feel of this Dior tan dress with a Dior black cashmere turtleneck for the 20-year-old royal.  Often young royals dress too old for their age.  But she actually reminded me of Hailee Steinfeld here.  Her printed Dior Saddle bag enlivened this look further.

Tatiana Casiraghi:  Beatrice’s sister-in-law wore a Dior white cashmere coat that sadly felt like a lab coat to me.  Perhaps had it been a grey, it would’ve worked for me better with her off-white silk shirt and grey wool skirt.

I think Beatrice is by far my favourite here.

Which royal nailed their Dior look for you?

What a chic looking bunch, well the women, I love it. They all look good but I connect with Princess Alexandra’ look the most.

Fabulous fashion. Everyone looks so elegant. That plaid coat is everything.

They all look so stylish and sharp! Classy but still modern. Our royal family should take notes.

They all look fabulous. Though I think between the three ladies I’ll choose Beatrice’s outfit. I just love the combination of green and black then add her beret (just as you Catherine), it’s a great look from head to toe.
