Zendaya Coleman Spotlights Imane Ayissi At The ‘Queen & Slim’ LA Premiere

Zendaya In Imane Ayissi ‘Queen & Slim’ LA Premiere

Zendaya Colman joined Tracee Ellis Ross, Rihanna and Jodie Smith-Turner on the red carpet for the AFI FEST 2019 premiere of ‘Queen & Slim’ on Thursday (November 14) in Hollywood, California.

Are you noticing at trend?

Aside from the fact that Zendaya’s last few outing have been black, what I’ve noticed is that the actress is using her platform to shine a spotlight on up-and-coming designers.

I mentioned this recently on a previous posts that stylists are tired of pulling from the same designers (which is why you haven’t seen one particular designer in quite some time), they want to embrace new talent, and that looks to be Zendaya’s M.O. at present.

Giving us another lesson in chic, understated dressing, the actress wore textured caftan-style dress from Imane Ayissi’s Fall 2019 collection.

Keeping the matching boots. I would’ve expected a colour pop, green, purple or red, but that wouldn’t have suited the new zen era in Zendaya’s style.

Kendra Scott earrings completed her look.

This looks so comfy. I think it probably looks better in person so you can see the beautiful fabric. She looks great.

I really like the look, but I am not a fan of the matching boots. I would have preferred a pair of leather, maroon or red wine ones. She looks lovely nonetheless.

    anonymous as always

Looks so comfy, cosy and stylish. Something you could throw on and look chic in especially for times when you have to leave the apartment but you don’t really want to.

I wish more celebs would wear trapezey silhouettes, because not everything needs to be close to the body, and just because it isn’t doesn’t mean you’re pregnant! I like this dress a lot. It looks so comfy but it’s also so stylish.

As usual, she looks stunning. Love her in the black with minimal styling. Not feeling the matchy-matchy boots.

Its nice. Mostly, it looks just darn comfy.
Its nice to see more n more designers instead of the same few every time.
