Rosalía’s Punchy Polka Dots For The 2019 Latin Grammys

Rosalía In Carolina Herrera - 2019 Latin Grammys

Spanish pop singer Rosalía capped her breakthrough year by winning the top honour at the 2019 Latin Grammy Awards on Thursday (November 14).

Her album ‘El Mal Querer,’ which fuses flamenco music with R&B and trap, was named album of the year as well as best contemporary pop vocal album.

“Winning a Grammy is the best thing that can ever happen,” she said. “We did this album sitting on the floor, with two computers, a keyboard and a microphone. I swear to God. And then we worked on it for a year and a half. That was it.” Her reggaeton collaboration with J Balvin, Con Altura, won best urban song.

Before collecting her awards, the singer took to the red carpet wearing Carolina Herrera Spring 2020 dress, which was customized to feature a train and side bow.

Firstly.  Hallelujah she’s gave trousers a miss.  With her track record she needs to steer clear of trousers until the a suitable tailor can be found.

Secondly, this is much more like it.

I’m happy to see a new side to Rosalía style, where she taps into the timelessly elegant and effortlessly feminine aesthetic of Carolina Herrera, arriving in a charming polka-dot print.

The look doesn’t take itself too seriously.  It’s fun and doesn’t give off that try hard vibe that was steadily getting stronger and stronger.

Jewels weren’t just focused on her heart-shaped earrings, she also had some accented to her House of CB ‘Glacier’ mules.
