Katy Perry made a guest appearance on Wednesday’s edition of ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show.’
The pop star first joined host Ellen DeGeneres for an interview where she talks about cutting her hair, her engagement, and reconciling with Taylor Swift.
Later, she took to the stage to deliver the television premiere of her single ‘Small Talk.’
On both occasion she wore outfits fresh off the Christian Cowan Spring 2020 runway.
The lavender tie-front leather dress with puffy sleeves works for the kitschy, futuristic flight attendant vibe she was going for; complete with a bedazzled silver beret and bow front Mary Janes.
What more can you say other than this is very much a Katy Perry look.
For her ‘Small Talk’ performance, Katy was all about rose-gold and glitter.
Her Christian Cowan Spring 2020 dress, which consisted of a big bow and tight hood, was inspired by Shelley Long’s character in ‘Troop Beverly Hills’.
This seems very dramatic for a TV performance, especially with the train included in the look, but Katy is always committed to giving us moment that we will never forget.
Am I the only one who feels the dress was improved with the added ruffled hemline?
