Meghan, Duchess Of Sussex Guest Edits The September Issue Of British Vogue

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex has shunned the honour of featuring on the cover of Vogue, to focus on female empowerment and diversity.

She has become the first person to guest edit the prestigious September issue of British Vogue, chosing to make 15 other women cover stars, using the opportunity to promote inspirational role models who are leading the charge in everything from mental health to politics.

The Duchess has spent the last seven months secretly working on the forthcoming edition of the fashion bible.

She has carefully curated an issue that focuses on her choice of “trailblazing changemakers” entitled Forces for Change.

The issue will include a candid conversation” between the Duchess and Michelle Obama, the former First Lady, whom she has long admired, as well as an interview between her husband, the Duke of Sussex and Dr Jane Goodall, a primatologist whom she has idolised since childhood.

The September issue of British Vogue co-edited by The Duchess of Sussex is available on newsstands and digital download from Friday, August 2.
