Alexa Chung Was Blooming At The Bird in Hand 2019 Wine Collection Dinner

Alexa Chung attended the Bird in Hand 2019 Wine Collection Dinner held at Harry’s Bar on Wednesday (July 10) in London.

Unlike Victoria Beckham, Alexa Chung will wear designs other than her own from time-to-time.

Her favourites appear to be London-based designers.  In this case Erdem.

This ladylike blue floral Erdem Fall 2019 dress was of course was presented with the designers famed florals.

Ciara’s peplum got a bit of a bad rap yesterday, but the frill on this dress feels particularly special.

I don’t know about you, but the first thing I do when I try on any item – dress, trousers, jumpsuit – is feel for  pockets. 

So aside from the colour and fit, I love the design too.

Alexa isn’t one to make too much fuss in the hair and beauty department, so she kept things simple with neutral makeup and simple black pumps.
