Diane Kruger Helps Montblanc Unveil its New StarWalker Collection

Diane Kruger Helps Montblanc Unveil its New StarWalker Collection

On the eve of the 50th anniversary of the first landing on the moon, Montblanc hosted the launch of a new campaign for the newly designed StarWalker writing instrument featuring former astronaut Leroy Chiao.

Guests included Diane Kruger, who joined Montblanc at the Lone Star Museum in Houston, Texas on Wednesday (June 12).

If you’re immediate reaction to the German actress in this Valentino Fall 2019 dress was, “she’s back,” you are not alone.

This is the Diane Kruger we all know and love.

Chic, yet experimental, bold and daring.

I don’t mind the black shoes, as the focus needed to be on the feather accented dress.

I adore the charming pink and lilac combo, and that she opted for a complementary Montblanc Bohème Automatic Date  for this dramatic look.

Back on form, or trying too hard?

I am not feeling this as much as others — not at all charmed by the dress. I get that the shoes should not be point of this look but if that is the case, why wear black ankle strap sandals? How about something that goes better with the dress and is less obtrusive? Please tell me that the strip of black on one of the sleeves does not say Valentino. Overall, I am at meh for this.

I’m not that enthused by this. It’s a mixture and Barbara Cartland/Miss Piggy, the print might be the thing giving a tiny edge.

Yes! This is the Diane we all know and love. Perfect from head to toe!

She’s one of the few who can wear this without looking ridiculous.
