Golshifteh Farahani In Givenchy Haute Couture – ‘The Dead Don’t Die’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere & Opening Ceremony

Golshifteh Farahani In Givenchy Haute Couture - ‘The Dead Don’t Die’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere & Opening Ceremony

The looks of the 2019 Cannes Film Festival opening ceremony and ‘The Dead Don’t Die’ premiere on Tuesday (May 14) kept coming with Golshifteh Farahani stepping onto the red carpet.

Deceptively simple yet complex at the same time, this Givenchy Spring 2019 Haute Couture design featured an illusion tulle bodysuit.

It turned the classic ball gown into a statement of modern allure.

She carried it off with such edgy gracefulness — especially when topped off with her pompadour-style hair and those brilliant jewels around her neck.

Beautiful girl but the dress is cheap looking

I prefer the runway neckline but I’m so glad she covered her belly button. It’s boring overall. There were muuuch better options from this collection.

She’s so beautiful but the dress is a big no.

Is this supposed to be Givenchy? smh So cheap and tacky

the modification definitely brought down the drama from the original design, however the U shaped plunge is never flattering on mere mortals.

    This dress is awful.

    This looks unfinished and unflattering.

When a dress looks odd and cheap-looking in someone so beautiful, delicate and regal as Golshifteh, you know the design is bad.

It’s a terribly designed dress imo, from the mix of fabrics to the portions. Got to give it to her though, she still looks stunning…neck up, gorgeous.

    No.
The giant u neckline just looks odd on anybody.
The different fabrics of top n bottom look really disjointed. Like, both fabrics were part of different dresses, and just cut n sewn together. I dont like the look.
Not so sure the necklace helps either.

Boring, cheap-looking, awful neckline…nothing good to say about this look.
