Nieves Alvarez In Elie Saab Haute Couture – ‘The Dead Don’t Die’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere & Opening Ceremony

Nieves Alvarez In Elie Saab Haute Couture - ‘The Dead Don’t Die’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere & Opening Ceremony

As you know I always put the models together in one post, but Nieves Alvarez looked so breath-taking, she deserved her own for her Cannes Film Festival entrance for the premiere of ‘The Dead Don’t Die’ on Tuesday (May 14).

When no-holds-barred glamour is on the agenda, there is only man to turn to: Elie Saab.

While I am still waiting for her to top that glorious 2013 Goya Awards moment (which is unlikely to happen), this glistening golden gown from the Spring 2019 Haute Couture collection is a close runner up.

Some might believe that the gown is doing all the work, which might be true, but when you have class and sophistication running through your veins, you can make a moment like this so very look easy.

Christian Louboutin ‘Faridaravie’ PVC sandals in rainbow hues provided an interesting pairing, plus a gold Louboutin clutch.

Meh. She’s usually much more interesting than this. Nice but forgettable.

    But she does look great!

Sorry to say this to Nieves but this is very basic for her standards.

The fresh haircut and colour looks fantastic on her. Though, I’m not overly excited about the dress, kinda been there done that feel to it, can’t deny she looks fab.

Man, she is just owning every square inch of fabric in that stunning gown! Absolutely gorgeous!

The color of this dress is stunning on her in my opinion. It really works with her hair color as well.

Flawless. Although it doesn’t stand out at Cannes, it is very beautiful. She looks so elegant. I adore her fashion sense!

    Stunning!

It’s a beautiful dress on a beautiful lady, but I’ve seen a million and one iterations of it, so it’s nothing memorable at this point.

That 2013 Roland stands alone, still superb even after six years. This look is glam, grown and sexy, deserving of it’s own post.

Nieve is always above everyone ! She has this « je ne sais quoi » that makes her always elegant, sexy, sophisticated

She looks nice but it’s a bit boring especially for her.

Even though I think she looks stunning and sexy, I’m still gonna have to agree with you – there isn’t enough of a memorable Cannes-worthy drama here, she could’ve easily done more.
