‘The Sun Is Also A Star’ world premiere on Monday (May 13) in Los Angeles brought plenty of arresting fashion to the teal carpet.

Marsai Martin:  The young starlet made a big statement in a short silhouette with her Georges Chakra Fall 2019 dress. It’s like a piece of modern art with the graphic lines and strong shapes.

Camila Mendes: She epitomised a sunny summer day in Prabal Gurung Spring 2019. The maxi style elevated the tie-dye trend for the red carpet and brought such youthful energy with the colour and silhouette.

Yara Shahidi: The ‘Grown-ish’ actress has successfully layered on many occasions, but this is starting to feel contrived. There’s too much happening on the bottom between the stripes, uneven hem, light-wash jeans and Casadei shoes. The Monse Fall 2019 gown doesn’t have the chance to shine.
