Zooey Deschanel Returns To The Red Carpet For The 2019 James Beard Foundation Awards Gala

It’s been quite some time since we last saw Zooey Deschanel on the red carpet, so I was delighted to see her back for the 2019 James Beard Awards on Monday (May 6) in Chicago, Illinois.

We’ve always known Zooey for her quirky style that allowed her eccentric personality to shine through, but I feel like she has grown style-wise during her hiatus.

With its elegant one-shoulder silhouette, this Jenny Packham Spring 2019 dress puts a modern spin on fairytale-inspired eveningwear.

I love how she highlighting the pink floral embroidery with a pink Tyler Ellis clutch.

I can’t imagine that she’s wearing her signature  dark-hued tights underneath that gown, but some habits might die hard.
