Miriam Leone sits on the jury panel for the 2nd Canneseries International Series Festival in Cannes, with Emma Mackey.
During her time, the Italian actress has been exclusively wearing Gucci. Four looks to be exact.
Opening Ceremony: On Friday (April 5), her modelling credentials came into play when she made me fall in love with this Gucci Spring 2019 gown. Green satin dresses have never really excited me until this moment. I love how the pleated detailing falls from the crystal embroidery. The bottom half is definitely more sellable than the top half.
Day Two: Her second look took a more business-like turn in Gucci Pre-Fall 2019. The suit beautiful harmonizes preppy and nautical, but it’s the play with old and new; signature grosgrain trims and Horsebit detailing, that gave the look plenty of heritage. Styled with Gucci sandals and Gucci ‘Zumi’ shoulder bag, which she carried as a clutch, this was so effortlessly chic.
Day Four: The sequin floral skirt naturally stands out here, while the shimmering top gives the look a relaxed glamour approach. While I find the velvet headband totally random, it does co-ordinate well with the dusky-rose embroidery on her skirt.
Day Five: On Tuesday (April 5) evening, the actress wore her fourth Gucci look in five days. You’ll see it’s printed with leaping tigers – a motif Alessandro Michele loves to use in the brand’s collections. But what might not be so apparent, is the embellished neckline that once again showcases Michele’s love for maximalism.
