Mary J Blige In Ralph & Russo – Premiere Of Netflix’s ‘The Umbrella Academy’

Following the 2019 BAFTAs, Mary J. Blige was back on the red carpet for the premiere of Netflix’s ‘The Umbrella Academy’ on Tuesday (February 12) in Hollywood, California.

The singer-actress opted for another look from Ralph & Russo.

On this occasion I like how the elegant draping that refined the silhouette of this orange dress.

Brian Atwood gold pumps, her own earrings and Dena Kemp rings completed her look.

You weren’t the biggest fans of her previous looks, so how does this one fare?

Nothing we haven’t seen before, but she does look fantastic!

The color and the silhouette work better for her than some of the experimental things she has tried in the past.
Something about the styling feels a bit off, probably the dated hairstyle or the lackluster make up but anyway for some reason the overall is more exciting that some of her forced outings from the past.

I do like this dress on her, one of her better outings. I never like her hair and makeup.

I think I’ve seen this dress a thousand times. Boring.

Love the color, the draping and the half cape/train. The seaming near the waist and the diagonal seam are not well done causing some pulling that detracts from the overall look. I am neutral heading rapidly to dislike on the hair because it screams wig.

Here it’s more the hairstyle that I wish was more up to date than the dress.
