Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge In Beulah London – Family Action Launch

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon features Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge In Beulah London - Family Action Launch

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge paid a visit to the new national support line at the charity, ‘Family Action’ on Tuesday (January 22) in Lewisham, England, where she was introduced to families who are supported by the charity.

Looked as elegant as ever, I’m starting to believe that green is slowly becoming her favourite colour, and who can blame her when she looks so good in this green Beulah London dress.

With only slight notable features such as the belt and buttons down the side, the bespoke dress was styled with Kiki McDonough green amethyst cushion drop earrings plus her go-to clutch and pumps for green day.

I wish people would stop calling her style boring. I assume by “boring” they mean not fashion-forward, brightly colored, glittery, oddly shaped, and/or all of the above. She is doing what constitutes her job. So she is essentially at a work event. She is dressed appropriately for a work event. I don’t know how many people actually dress “exciting” for work.

Classic Kate, but she looks really good. Great colour on her and impeccable fit. She has such great hair!

It’s a lovely dress and isn’t boring . The buttons are wonderful . She makes it boring with her shoe choice , her matching purse and lack of interesting jewellry. A grey suede shoe would have worked so much better and still been acceptable given her position .

She looks great as usual, not very exciting fashion wise, but polished and classic.
I guess that considering both her current and her future role in such a conservative institution she probably has (or wants) to choose timeless, “neutral” outfits that, on one hand, won’t attract the attention of the media so that the focus is on the reason for her visits and, on the other hand, won’t look outdated in a few years or even decades.
She might look boring now, but I think it will prove to be a sensible choice in the long run.
I’m not an expert, but other European royals like Mary of Denmark seem to be making similar choices most of the time.

Kate looks wonderful in this color but I wish she didn’t dress in clothing that looks like it could have come out of Camilla’s or the Queen’s closet just as easily as her own.

      +1 fully agree!
Yes she looks chic and elegant but soooo boring not her age at all, no fun, no surprises, no changes

She looks elegant but oh so very boring.

It’s nothing new for Catherine but I like this. The fit is spot on and the colour is great on her. I’d have preferred different coloured accessories but it’s a minor quibble.

Nothing spectacular, but still nice and event-appropriate.

I prefer ‘regular’ dresses over the ‘coat-dresses’ she likes to wear so I hope this trend continues.

It’s elegant serious enough for the occasion without being sombre.

I like the dress. The pumps, not as much.

I woke up to headlines say she’s helping vulnerable women by working to end modern slavery.

Soooo the founders of Belulah traveled to India in 2010 where they encountered sex trafficking victims, 10 percent of all their proceeds now go to the UN Blue Heart Campaign and the company also provides jobs and education to victims of human trafficking.

I think she looks lovely. The fit, as always, is impeccable, and the green is prefect for her coloring.

Classic Kate, I like that belt, it adds some needed texture to the rather plain dress.

I really wish she hadn’t chosen to alter the sleeves of the dress as they were so pretty and gave it a nice touch. It’s much plainer after her alterations.
