Natalie Portman In Christian Dior Haute Couture – National Gallery of Victoria Gala & ‘Vox Lux’ LA Premiere

Natalie Portman has been making the rounds. She attended the National Gallery of Victoria Gala on Saturday (December 1) in Melbourne, Australia. Then she made her way back stateside for the ‘Vox Lux’ LA premiere on Wednesday (December 5) in Hollywood, California.

National Gallery of Victoria Gala: This Christian Dior Fall 2018 Haute Couture gown might bring on a sense of déjà vu because it is a very similar colour to her last Dior look. It was still a romantic moment with the crisscross detail snaking down the front of the ballet pink style. The abstract tree and camo topper would have provided differentiation, but the look would have lost its princess sentiment.

‘Vox Lux’ LA Premiere: Those hoping for something different will hopefully find favour with this Christian Dior Spring 2018 Haute Couture suit. The clean lines showcase a mastery of tailoring and create a flattering figure with the lapel detail. She styled it sans shirt for a sexier, more minimalist finish.

The gown washes her out, but the suit! Wow! I kinda wish she’d worn the sheer shirt underneath as that would have looked so cool, but I can’t deny that she looks sexy and confident.

Kind of funny that the two models are french!

Hmm I don’t like the suit at all. It gives her really strange proportions. The v cut is too low and the legs look really short and stumpy. Its odd.
The dress is fine but not memorable.

Yes, yes and hell yes to the second look. Definitely BDOTW worthy.

That second look… Aïe! Had to pick my jaw off the floor. The styling is just pure perfection!

The second look is perfection and her best look in recent memory

Love the suit with and without the blouse. The gown is forgettable.

The gown is pretty and forgettable. Love the second look. Natalie looks fierce and the tailoring is awesome.

I like the dusty pink to the runway beige gown but I wish she’d done more with her hair and maybe a berry lip too. The suit is sharp and sexy with ease.

Love both! Both are BDOTW worthy.

I prefer the suit over the gown!

      +1 The gown is boring.
