Chadwick Boseman picked up the ‘International Man of the Year’ award at the 2018 GQ Men of the Year Awards in London on Wednesday (September 5), to no-one’s surprise.
The ‘Black Panther’ star was the first to wear a look from Louis Vuitton’s Spring 2019 collection, so I wasn’t surprised to see him opt for this collection once again.
I would’ve loved for Chadwick to have opted for a full ecru look, but the white sneakers do give the look at edge.
Actually, I should be thankful as things could’ve been worse, as he could’ve opted for those Yeezy sliders.
Perhaps I would’ve been more excited about the sneakers had he opted for the baggy runway trousers.

Ah, no, first Henry Golding in cocktail waiter drag, now Chadwick in – this. Both men can elevate almost anything, but should not have to.
Those pants are too long but I like them much better than the runway pants. He’s a hottie.
Chadwick is a god
Very similar to his ESPYS suit but even more basic. One expects more exciting looks on Chadwick especially for such a high profile event – although GQ MOTY seems to be all about skimpily dressed women and boring suits on men. I wish it had more glamour and sex appeal for an evening look.
He looks so good.
Ashley Weston generally does a good job with him but while I’m not excited about the runway cut, mostly the cut of the pants, his outfit just looks a poorly fitting.
Nah, he is not selling it to me – it does look stylish on the runway with its intentionally baggy shape, but on Chadwick it just looks like a plain slightly ill-fitted suit and jarring shoes.
Chadwick, please stay away from Virgil”s creations. They are ugly :/

Was going to say the same. Although I find his clothes more boring than ugly. All that hype around the ‘creative’ directors changes at Louis Vuitton and Dior Homme and they’re still putting out the same boring menswear.
I prefer his version. The trousers as seen on the runaway are absolutely HIDEOUS! I just wish he would have gone for simple white sneackers. Those look like orthopedic shoes!
