Rita Ora In Jean Paul Gaultier Haute Couture – 2018 MTV VMAs

Rita Ora would not be missed at the 2018 MTV VMAs on Monday (August 20) in New York City.

As I can already imagine the eyes rolling at her Jean Paul Gaultier Fall 2018 Haute Couture creation, I will offer up some measure of defense for it.

1. I’m as fatigued with sheer as the next person, but the squiggles of this gown kinda offer a new playful, artsy component.

2. She fully committed to wearing the look and has not let it wear her.

3. As this is the VMAs, these types of entrances are much to be expected and perhaps excused with a haute hall pass.

Lorraine Schwartz jewels — and bejeweled eye makeup — completed the look.
