Camila Cabello performed ‘Havana’ at the 2018 iHeartRadio Music Awards in Walter Mendez

Camila Cabello performed her hit song ‘Havana’ at the 2018 iHeartRadio Music Awards on Sunday (March 11) in Inglewood, California.

The singer channelled her Marilyn Monroe-via-Madonna with her performance wearing a custom Walter Mendez pink satin strapless gown.

Complete with matching opera gloves, jewels and thigh-high boots, it’s clear her inspiration combines the iconic ‘Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend’ from ‘Gentlemen Prefer Blondes’ and the classic ‘Material Girl’ music video.

Prior to her performance, the singer rocked the red carpet wearing a colourful design which I feel paid homage to her Cuban roots.

There hasn’t always been a lot of love shown to Camila’s style; perhaps because she’s still in the experimental stages, but this is one of her looks I found myself loving from head-to-toe.
