Kyra Sedgwick: I believe the updo is partly to blame for the more matronly tones of this Zuhair Murad Spring 2018 fringed gown styled with Chopard jewels.
Gugu Mbatha-Raw: This Oscar de la Renta gown was a refreshing ode to modern elegance. I love how the deceptively simple silhouette radiated with subtle glimmering embellishment before giving way to a celebration of dégradé fringe below.
Allison Janney: Statuesque as always, Allison was striking in this J Mendel gown styled with Ara Vartanian earrings, a Sylva & Cie ring, a Jimmy Choo clutch, and matching red Stuart Weitzman heels. The dimensional lace bodice offered a romantic counterpoint to the sleekness of the skirt.
Betty Gabriel: I couldn’t quite shake the sense that this Rami Al Ali metallic-accented gown could have easily been walking in a pageant.
Frankie Shaw: I think these luminous green Tibi separates would have fared better with tonal green sandals. Sara Weinstock marquis hook earrings and Lee Savage clutch completed the look.
Milana Vayntrub: While the floral embroidery of this Needle & Thread gown was lovely, it felt more like the dress was wearing her.
