Allison Williams In Dolce & Gabbana – 2018 Critics’ Choice Awards

Allison Williams was back on the red carpet for the 2018 Critics’ Choice Awards on Thursday (January 11) in Santa Monica, California, in support of her film, ‘Get Out’.

I’ve been going back and forth with regards to this Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2018 gown, and finally it gets a thumbs up from me, as love that she it omits modern elegance, with a medieval vibe.

I found myself captivated by the boldness of it all – Allison tends to tread a fairly safe path – so to see something this dynamic is really refreshing.

I’m not so keen on the brown guipure lace, but I’m living with it as it complements her brunette hair and I’m grateful for the removal of the feather sleeves.

This will be the marmite look of the night. So, do you love it or hate it?

Too busy. And the lips were too pale.

It’s a very tough look to pull off–I’m not liking the brown lace too much, or the sheer, or the way the torso is elongated…but pulling back there is *something* cool about it. However, her makeup is making her not look like herself.

I love this look,it’s giving me Valentino Fall 2017 Couture vibes,it’s the makeup look that is ruining this for me

I hate it as well, sadly. It’s giving me costume-y vibes, I don’t like the colors and am not feeling hair or make-up either.

    She made it work. Kudos.

This is such a regal dress! i like it on her. What keeps me from loving most of Allison’s looks is that she never looks happy to be there, she always looks so bored.

Hate it. It has way too much going on. It can’t decide what it wants to be. Its beyond terrible.

It wouldn’t have been my first choice of dress but I think she wears the look well.

A neglige walked into a bar and met a suit of armor made of lace . . .

Guess I’m the only one here who LOVED it. The colour pallete is absolutely perfect. I’m in total awe. For me it is BDOTW worthy and maybe even a BDOTY contestant – yes, I’m totally loving it.
The only thing I’d change is the sheerness of the skirt.

I actually like the dress on her, but this time I hate her makeup! This girl is gorgeous but she looks like a wax doll in here!

ITA with you… I love the dress and I’m glad the green feathers were removed but that makeup has to GO!

This is quite a lot to take, including an unusual colour combination.

Not a fan of the makeup, either. She looks tired.

I don’t really like the gown, that brown guipure lace in particular, but on Allison it actually works quite well, I’m sold.

Hate it. It does nothing for Allison.
