3rd Annual InStyle Awards Red Carpet Roundup

The 3rd Annual InStyle Awards on Monday (October 23) in Los Angeles, California brought out numerous stylish ladies donning their most head-turning ensembles.

Angela Sarafyan: The ‘Westworld’ actress put a darker twist on a princess silhouette in a Georges Chakra Fall 2017 Couture gown. The black trim and the darker tulle layers lent an edginess to the full skirt. An Edie Parker ‘Jean’ clutch and Chloe Gosselin ‘Narcissus’ sandals played up the moody vibe.

Demi Lovato: Bringing a sultry elegance to a lavender Alice + Olivia Spring 2018 gown, the ‘Sorry Not Sorry’ singer toughened up the slip dress with a white studded belt and Leticia Linton ring. If I have to nitpick, I would have liked to see the dress a few inches shorter and a more formal belt.

Serayah McNeill: Always the fashionista, the actress-singer-model was clad in a Versus Versace Fall 2017 dress. The logo neckline paired with the double slits and sheer sleeves created a modern glamorous look that had a nod of athleisure. White pointed-toe heels and John Hardy jewels harmonized the ensemble.

Cindy Crawford: The supermodel never seems to have an off day. This was evident with her Versace dress. The slit showed off her incredible legs, but it was the chunky zip and interplay of navy and black fabrics that elevated the outfit.

Faith Hill:
Opting for a shorter silhouette, the country singer looked refined in a cream Tom Ford frock. The tie detail and open neck mixed sexy and sophisticated elements. As beautiful as this was, I would have liked to see it at a different event.

Phoebe Tonkin: Going for short and sweet, the Australian actress sported a Chanel Resort 2018 dress which had maximum detail with the two-tone woven fabric. The frock’s subdued colour palette and coordinating accessories allowed the subtleties to come to the forefront.

Ellen Pompeo: Turning heads in bright pink, the ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ actress’s Co Resort 2018 ensemble made the sweet shade look downright sophisticated with the tie neckline and frills. As charming as the details on the dress were, it was the addition of the red clutch that really excited me.

Lauren Cohan: We don’t see enough Mary Katrantzou on the red carpet so I was thankful to see the Walking Dead’ actress in this Fall 2017 dress. The piece’s bold mix of colours, textures and embellishment had a prim vibe with a quirky edge. Giuseppe Zanotti shoes and a red, red lip lent more drama.

January Jones: Ditching the dress in favor of trousers, the former ‘Mad Men’ actress worked a pajamas dressing-inspired ensemble with Stella Luna ‘Indispensable’ shoes. The pink touches added a girlish touch to the flowing kimono top and trousers while the earrings made it evening-ready.

Julia Jones: The former ‘Twilight’ actress presented a shorter mermaid silhouette with this deep purple confection. The black straps might feel disjointed to some, but she tied them in with her L.K. Bennett sandals and Emm Kuo clutch.

Connie Britton: Another beautiful babe in white, the ‘Nashville’ star looked ready to dance in a fringed Edition by Georges Chakra dress. The black clutch and sandals wrapped up the black belt. My only complaint is I would have liked to see her hair brushed back to reveal the full wrap neckline.
