Venice Film Festival Red Carpet Roundup

More stars took to the red carpet on Monday (September 4), as the Venice Film Festival marched on.

Levante: This embellished Alberta Ferretti Fall 2017 gown was originally shown with a full lining, leaving many of you—and myself included—likely to wonder why Levante opted to go sheer instead at the ‘Una Famiglia’ premiere.

Micaela Ramazzotti: The magpie-attracting embellishment of Prada was not lost on this glittery look that Micaela wore at the ‘Una Famiglia’ premiere, but she did lose me at the unnecessary cuff and the gigantic platform shoes.

Cristiana Capotondi: For the ‘Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri’ premiere, Cristiana donned a Miu Miu gown styled with a Jaeger le Coultre timepiece and Messika jewels. I love the free-flowing silhouette of the dress and the glint of its subtle constellation of embellishment.

Alessia Fabiani: From the magenta platforms to the bouquet of floral in this Gabriele Fiorucci gown, there was a lot going on with Alessia’s ensemble at the ‘Una Famiglia’ premiere. No doubt many will see vestiges of vintage upholstery prints in this look.

Annabelle Belmondo: Channeling a doll-like sense of darling at the ‘Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri’ premiere, she kept it sweet—and quite a bit twee—in this Twinset number that seemed strangely constricting through the bodice.

Paola Turani: In theory, I was intrigued by the seductive, streamlined nature of this Twinset tiered, ruffle gown and its peek-a-boo mesh motif, which Paola wore at the ‘Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri’ premiere. But, I cannot say that the placement of the sheer panels was the most flattering through the low midriff.
