Sophie Turner In Louis Vuitton – 2017 Met Gala

‘Game of Thrones’ star Sophie Turner attended the 2017 Met Gala on Monday (May 1) in New York City.

As we’d expect, she was dressed in a Louis Vuitton gown. And, given its lace applique motif, it looks to be inspired by designer Nicolas Ghesquière’s Fall 2017 collection for the label.

There is something quite endearing in the soft elegance of the dress and the feminine ruffle of the shoulder trains that floated behind her—an LV look without a hint of try-hard.

Yet, it likely won’t make the most memorable list of the night, as it’s neither particularly avant-garde nor dramatic.

Nevertheless, it doesn’t take away from the fact that Sophie was lovely with her swept-back locks and an ear cuff for a few fashion-forward bonus points.

Unlike Lea’s dress, I like this. I think Nicholas loves Sophie because she always gets the better pieces.

    Ugly, ugly dress.

Ugly, ugly, ugly dress. I can’t imagine that she liked this.

Another day and I would of raved about her beauty look and an LV dress. She looks classy and gorgeous. And an LV I like? wow.
For this event, idk, just not feeling it.

Good for a LV dress. I’m not sure why they have so many celeb die-hards. Do they pay them?

Yep. These girls are paid to wear the brand. They want connections to brands to earn prestige as actresses. A young actress with a fledgling resume like Sophie would want to be tied in any way possible to Alicia Vikander, Michelle Williams and Selena Gomez, all actresses who are getting better scripts than her. It always starts as merely business but can form into real relationships, like Nicolas’ with Jennifer Connolly.

    Boring, forgettable.

This is too much like Lea Seydoux’s custom. Did Sophie, due to her lesser status, get the worst dress?

Gosh, these custom Vuittons often look the same. Overrated. At least Prada has range in their customs for each girl.

    Nope.

It’s pretty from the front, but amazing from the back. The back of the gown is pretty major, you wouldn’t guess looking at it from the front.
