2015 Cosmopolitan Fun Fearless Female Awards

Cosmopolitan Awards 2015

Two lovely ladies caught my eye at the Cosmopolitan Fun Fearless Female Awards held at the Ritz hotel on Tuesday (October 27) in Madrid, Spain.

Blanca Suarez: This Oscar de la Renta floral appliqué halter gown was my favourite look from the Resort 2016 collection. While the red Yliana Yepez clutch co-ordinates well with the look, the gym bun doesn’t work. You may remember that Elisabeth Moss rocked this stunner back in June for the Tony Awards.

Silvia Abascal: The actress was elegance personified in her beaded Giorgio Armani Fall 2015 gown. Some might of steered away from additional sparkle, but her Jimmy Choo clutch and Dinh Van earrings complemented rather than overcooked the look.

The first thing I noticed about Blanca’s look was her pose. Is she constipated?

I love both of these looks! I can handle the ‘gym’ bun but I am undecided on whether or not the belt would have been a good idea. I’m thinking it might have been. On the other hand the Armani gown is flawless. Not only is it beautiful but it looks like it would be easy and comfortable to wear (always a plus in my books).

both are okay….I really do not like the bun on Blanca. It was the wrong hairstyle and takes the look down. And even with the sparkles of Silvias dress I still feel rather bored.

    I prefer Silvia’s look.

Silvia looks absolutely stunning and BDOTW worthy.

I love the Oscar de la Renta, but I still like it best on the model: I truly disliked Elisabeth’s very yellow blonde hair with it and while Blanca’s take is better, nothing can’t beat the relaxed, brunette locks of the model–nor her attitude.
