Rooney Mara In Dolce & Gabbana – Late Night with Seth Meyers

Rooney Mara In Dolce & Gabbana - Late Night with Seth Meyers

Rooney Mara made a guest appearance on ‘Late Night with Seth Meyers’ on Wednesday (October 6), where she promoted her latest movie ‘Pan’.

Serving up a double rarity – colour and a smile – the actress was in very high spirits wearing a Dolce & Gabbana oxblood-red jacquard dress.

Ok, so it’s still in her dark and mysterious comfort-zone, but a refreshing break from the norm nonetheless.

Given a tougher stance with booties, beauty wise it was also nice to see a different hairstyle from Rooney.

I would like to think that this might signal a style shift from Rooney, but I will not be holding my breath.

I’m rarely moved when it comes to her style, but on this occasion, I’m loving Rooney’s look from head to toe. Color and a smile are a great look for her, and she even seems a little more relaxed than usual.

Rooney Mara in colour, with her hair down and a smile on her face?! Colour me surprised!
The dress looks too big and I hate it with those boots but I’m still going to love this look because it’s such a breath of fresh air!

She is wearing a typically sweet Dolce&Gabbana dress in a cutesy shape and styling it with the booties like Louis Vuitton – not working, sorry, her center part falls flat as well.

Rooney in color?! Let’s all mark this on our calendars. I have no doubt she will be back to black and/or white in no time, but it’s a welcomed change. I hate that she wore those unflattering boots though, kinda killed the look for me.

The dress is beautiful and looks great. The booties and the hair — not so much.

The red is absolutely beautiful on her, I so wish she wore different shoes though.

I almost couldn’t believe my eyes when I first saw these pictures. It’s such a refreshing change of pace for her!

I’m sure Rooney’ll be busy promoting Pan and Carol this fall, and I hope she continues to change things up a bit in her wardrobe.

Rooney smiling and wearing color… she almost looks a tiny bit like a different person^^ I love this, quite refreshing!
I’d also love to see her mixing things up a bit every now and then. But we’ll see if that’s actually going to happen.
