Vogue & Ralph Lauren Wimbledon Party

Boris Becker hosted the Ralph Lauren Wimbledon summer cocktail party to celebrate 10 years of Ralph Lauren as the official outfitter to the championship, alongside Gwendoline Christie and British Vogue, which I was delighted to attend yesterday evening (June 22).

Jessica Chastain: As you can imagine I was most excited to see Jessica Chastain at the event, who opted for Ralph Lauren Collection black and white fit and flare dress which was perfectly in tune with her sophisticated style. It looks like she’s used her time out of the spotlight to catch a few rays.

Alice Eve: With the grey clouds threatening rain, a Ralph Lauren camel knit dress wasn’t a bad choice. What really sold this look to me was Alice’s Ralph Lauren fringed bag which is appeared to have a lot of fun with.

Lily James: The ‘Cinderella’ star looked radiant wearing a Ralph Lauren Collection shirt dress which was relaxed in nature yet possessed plenty of feminine panache. A selection of gold jewels complemented her Ralph Lauren ‘Jean’ sandals.

Gwendoline Christie: The ‘Game of Thrones’ star, who’s usually dressed in Giles, co-hosted the event wearing a simple and chic Ralph Lauren Black Label dress featuring a playful flared hem. I love the pop of colour courtesy of her Ralph Lauren orange clutch.

Joanne Froggatt: We may not have seen the ‘Downton Abbey’ actress on the red carpet much lately, but judging by this 60s-style Ralph Lauren Collection shift dress, her love for colour hasn’t waned. This look couldn’t have been more appropriate for a summer party plus her Ralph Lauren accessories really helped sell the look to me.

Laura Bailey: The model opted to march to be beat of her own drum wearing an Emilia Wickstead periwinkle blue dress which she teamed with playful accessories.

Erin O’Connor: I’m always in awe of the statuesque beauty that is Erin O’Connor, and she didn’t disappoint last night. Her backless Ralph Lauren Collection ivory gown was easily my favourite look of the night, however, I would’ve loved the look more without the gold belt.

Boris Becker: The host ensured he was front and center wearing a royal-blue Ralph Lauren Purple Label suit. His wife, Lily Becker, was in danger of upstaging the host wearing a glamour tri-colour Ralph Lauren gown.
